Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect only what we need to book your appointment and treat you safely. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. If you want to know what we hold or want it deleted, email us and we will take care of it.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us — name, email address, phone number.
  • Appointment details — the services you book, when, and with whom.
  • Health information you share on an intake form or in person, such as injuries, conditions, allergies, pregnancy or medication. We ask for this only so your session is safe and appropriate.
  • Messages you send through the contact form on this site or by email.
  • Payment details are collected and processed by our booking and payment providers. We do not see or store full card numbers.

How we use it

To schedule and confirm appointments, to deliver your service safely, to send appointment confirmations and reminders, to answer your questions, to manage memberships and gift cards, and to keep the records a licensed practice is required to keep.

Your health information

Intake and treatment notes are kept confidential and are seen only by the practitioners involved in your care. We do not discuss your session or your health details with anyone outside the studio without your permission, unless the law requires it.

Who else is involved

A few trusted services help us run the studio and this website. They only receive what they need to do their job:

  • Vagaro — online booking, scheduling and payments.
  • Webflow — hosting for this website and delivery of contact form submissions.
  • Google Maps — the map embedded on our Visit Us section, which loads from Google when you view that page.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not run advertising trackers or analytics profiling. Our booking provider and the embedded map may set their own cookies when you use those features; you can control cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Client and treatment records are kept for as long as we are required to keep them as a licensed practice, and no longer than necessary after that. Contact form messages are kept only as long as we need them to answer you.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your information where we are not required to keep it, or stop sending you messages. Email ashevillemassageandwellness@gmail.com and we will respond as quickly as we can. Appointment confirmations and reminders are part of the service and are not marketing.

Keeping it safe

We limit access to client information to the people who need it, and our booking and hosting providers encrypt data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children online. Minors may receive services with a parent or guardian's consent and presence as required.

Changes

If we update this policy, the date at the top will change. The version published here is the one that applies.
